AMA Detroit is pleased to host a presentation of the findings of a just-completed national survey of teens regarding smartphone addiction. The survey of more than 1,000 teens examines critical issues, including compulsive phone behaviors, how phones hinder productivity and achievement, how they detract from the school environment and academic performance, how they cause anxiety and an emotional burden, how widespread smartphone addiction is, the desire among teens to limit their screen time, and the impact on their social life and sleep.

The Teen Smartphone Addiction National Survey (2018) was conducted in April by Screen Education, in partnership with EMI Research Solutions and Stark Statistical Consulting, as a public service to help advance our national conversation about the problem of smartphone addiction. The Detroit AMA is proud to contribute to this effort by bringing this webinar to a national audience.
