AMA Detroit members vote annually on a slate of candidates to hold office on the AMA board of directors. The voting site will remain open through 11:59 p.m. EST on February 28, 2018. If you have difficulty voting, have questions about voting online or wish to request a paper ballot, please contact [email protected].
The voting process is important and we encourage all members to exercise their right to vote for the 2018-19 slate of candidates.
In accordance with AMA bylaws, the nominating committee has placed the following names for the indicated offices for the 2018-2019 term, beginning July 1, 2018.
Note: Holly Shier, current President Elect, will fulfill her role as President beginning July 1, 2018, and current President, Danielle Cantin, will become Past President for the 2018-19 term.

Why I joined AMA Detroit: I joined AMA Detroit in 2010 as I was getting ready to graduate Oakland University. Having been involved with AMA OU collegiate chapter this was a great next step. I started volunteering part of the AMA Detroit Communications Committee right out of college and I guess you could say I became addicted to being around the AMAzing people in the organization! Over the years I have remained involved with AMA Detroit as it keeps me connected with marketing professionals and hot topics. Being the only marketing person at Esys, my involvement with AMA has allowed me to stay relevant in the field.
